Move beyond the scattered conversation
Messaging groups are useful for meeting people and spotting opportunities. The difficult part comes afterwards: remembering which role a message concerns, what the agencies agreed and who is waiting for a response.
A recruitment collaboration workspace gives that conversation context. TAP brings agency connections, messages, shared roles, employer briefs and proposals into a recruitment platform, with access depending on your plan and role.
Make the next action obvious
- Start with a specific requirement. Describe the role and the expertise or candidate reach you need.
- Choose the agencies involved. A relevant partner is more useful than broadcasting the same request to everyone.
- Agree the working arrangement. Record the split and responsibilities before a candidate introduction progresses.
- Keep the update attached to the work. Say what has happened, what is needed and who is responsible for the next step.
Less chasing starts with clearer expectations
Software cannot make another business reply. Your process still matters. Agree who holds the client relationship, who manages the candidate conversation and when updates are due. A short, relevant update is usually more useful than another “any news?” message.
For example, a role-owning agency can tell its partner that interview availability is needed by a particular day. The partner can respond with the information required. Both agencies know which opportunity the update belongs to.
Use the right amount of workspace
Your agency profile, connections and messaging are free. Network adds posting shared roles and responding to employer briefs, while Agency Growth adds the ATS and CRM tools for agencies that want more of their desk in TAP.
You can keep using your existing ATS. TAP does not automatically import the contents of your WhatsApp groups, email history or other recruitment systems. Bring the agreed work into the platform deliberately and share only what the recipient needs and is permitted to receive.
Start with one partnership
Choose an agency you have a real reason to work with. Make the first conversation specific, agree the next step and keep the work organised as it progresses. A useful partnership is built through delivery and communication; the workspace helps you keep track of both.
Use the agency partnership checklist to prepare the discussion, or explore a sample TAP workspace.
