Give each system a clear job
Your existing ATS can remain the place you manage your main candidate database and hiring process. Use TAP for the agency relationships around that work: finding a specialist partner, discussing an opportunity and coordinating a shared role.
That separation matters when a client brings you a requirement outside your usual sector or geography. Instead of migrating a database to test a partnership, start with the relevant agencies and the specific opportunity.
Start with one shared requirement
- Keep your core records where they belong. Decide which system your team will use for the main candidate and client records.
- Describe the support you need. Include the role’s specialism, location and practical requirements.
- Connect with a suitable partner. Check their experience and agree the responsibilities and commercial terms.
- Move only the information needed for the agreed work. Review details and keep permission and access requirements in place.
Where the Zoho Recruit connection fits
TAP supports selected, reviewed candidate details and an optional CV being sent from TAP to your own Zoho Recruit account. Review the candidate and possible duplicates before confirming the transfer. Your TAP permissions and Zoho account/API access apply.
This is a selected transfer workflow. It is not continuous two-way synchronisation, an automatic transfer of every record or job-posting sync. Other tools include supported imports and exports, CV review and browser capture. See the current integrations and setup instructions for the exact scope.
Choose the layer your agency needs
Free agency profiles, connections and messaging let you start building relationships. Network is designed for agencies that want shared-role posting and employer-brief responses while keeping their existing recruitment tools. Agency Growth adds candidate and client CRM, hiring pipelines, imports and other workspace tools.
You can assess those options against the way your team actually works. A separate ATS is not a reason to overlook an agency partnership, and you do not need to buy a second full workspace simply to start a conversation.
Measure the useful result
Start with one relevant partnership and look at what changes: a requirement gets a response, a partner supplies useful coverage or the next action becomes clearer. The purpose is more routes to work and less repeated admin, not another system for its own sake.
