Agency partnership checklist
Before two agencies share a role or candidate, get the practical details agreed. Use this two-page checklist together, then record the final terms in your partnership agreement.
No email or account needed. Two pages, ready to print or edit.
What the checklist covers
- The partnership. Agency details, authority to work on the role and previous introductions.
- The fee and split. The fee basis, each agency’s percentage, currency and agreed deductions.
- Payment and guarantees. Invoices, due dates, late payment, refunds and replacements.
- Candidate permission. Intended recipients, sharing limits, withdrawal and information handling.
- Responsibilities. Who handles the client, candidate, submissions, interviews and updates.
- The written agreement. Open actions, authorised acceptance and a shared record of the final terms.
How to use it
Download the PDF to print or share, or edit the Word copy for your partnership. Complete it with the other agency before sending identifying candidate details. Use role references on the checklist and keep private candidate information in your authorised system.
This is a planning checklist, not a partnership contract. Record your binding terms separately and obtain advice appropriate to your arrangement and the countries involved.
Check the numbers before you agree
Use the free recruitment fee split calculator to check that both shares add up. For more context, read what to agree before sharing a candidate.
