REDDIT OR TAP?
Give your agency a place to be chosen.
Useful advice can start a relationship. A TAP agency profile gives an interested employer or recruiter somewhere to assess your business and decide whether to work with you.
From useful discussion to relevant opportunity
Help people understand the agency behind the advice.
Show your specialism, services and markets in one place. When a discussion reveals a genuine need, your profile can help the right person see how your agency fits.
Reddit is valuable for open discussion.
Recruitment communities can help people share experiences, debate ideas and learn from other practitioners. The useful contribution is the discussion itself. Each community has its own rules, and Reddit advises businesses to be thoughtful about promotional posting rather than repeatedly dropping links.
If you want a place to introduce your agency as a business, a dedicated profile serves a different purpose. It gives potential clients and partners information they can review without needing to piece it together from a thread.

| What you need | Reddit communities | TAP Recruiter |
|---|---|---|
| Share industry knowledge | Join discussions and contribute relevant experience under the community rules. | Use your agency profile to describe the expertise and services your business offers. |
| Make your business assessable | Explain your background in your profile or contributions where appropriate. | Publish a free listing with your agency name, locations, sectors and services. |
| Find a relevant partner | Meet people through discussions and arrange any business relationship separately. | Explore agency profiles, then use eligible conversations and paid partnership tools. |
| Move into commercial work | Arrange briefs, agreements, consent and progress records through your own systems. | Use shared-role agreements and introductions, or respond to employer briefs on Network or Growth. |
| Set expectations | Audience, moderation and permitted promotion differ by community. | TAP is newly launched. Network participation determines the available partners and opportunities. |
Give employers a reason to remember your agency.
Make your profile specific enough that someone can recognise a fit: the disciplines you cover, seniority levels, locations and recruitment services you offer. Explain your approach in plain language. Avoid promising that you recruit everything everywhere.
For example, an agency specialising in finance roles in a particular region can describe the employers it supports and the assignments it handles. If another agency needs help there, that is a clearer basis for a conversation than a generic request to connect.
Build a reputation through how you work.
Helpful participation and a complete profile can support trust. Follow through on commitments, keep candidate permission current and agree commercial expectations before sharing records. Neither a Reddit account nor a TAP listing is a substitute for checking who you are working with.
Start with a free agency profile. Creating, publishing and updating your listing costs nothing. Free agencies can receive and reply to eligible incoming conversations. Network or Agency Growth is required to start agency conversations, use shared-role collaboration or respond to employer briefs. TAP takes no placement commission; subscriptions are separate. See current plan inclusions.
Questions agencies ask
Do I have to leave my recruitment communities?
No. Keep contributing where you find the discussions useful. TAP is a place to establish your agency presence and organise relevant recruitment partnerships.
Can I advertise TAP or my profile in any subreddit?
No. Follow that community's rules and Reddit's policies. An invitation to discuss recruitment does not automatically permit promotion.
Is the agency profile really free?
Yes. Create your agency profile for free, complete the details and choose your visibility. Paid collaboration and recruitment tools are optional.
TAP is newly launched and the community is growing. Available agencies, employer briefs and shared roles depend on participation. A profile or paid plan does not guarantee enquiries, placements or payment.
