TAP REFERRAL PARTNERS

Partner programme terms

Version 2026-10-v4 · Effective 24 October 2026

Read these terms before joining. Your acceptance is recorded against your verified account, with a copy of this version.

1. Who is agreeing

These referral programme terms are between TalentChoice Group Pty Ltd (ABN 23 696 418 041), operating TAP Recruiter (TAP, we or us), and the person or organisation named in the partner registration (you). You must be at least 18 and authorised to bind that organisation. Use accurate details and a verified email you control. Agreement is formed when you actively accept this version and TAP creates or connects your partner account. There is no joining fee or purchase requirement. Your accepted text, version and acceptance time are retained.

2. What the programme covers

You introduce new recruitment agencies and employers to TAP using your own referral links or the unique referral code shown in your partner account. An employer means a business registering its own employer workspace, not a candidate, an agency employee or a company mentioned in a hiring brief. An agency or employer can also be a partner, but cannot earn by referring itself. A partner account provides referral reporting only; it does not grant access to another customer’s workspace or authorise you to conduct recruitment or contract on TAP’s behalf.

3. Commission and qualifying revenue

The rate is 20% of eligible subscription revenue actually collected by TAP for each eligible referred business’s first 12 paid monthly service periods. Qualifying plans are Agency Network, Agency Growth and Employer Workspace, including paid extra seats billed with those subscriptions. Discounts reduce the basis. Tax, refunds, credits, chargebacks and uncollected amounts do not earn commission. Payment processing fees are not deducted from the basis. Commission is rounded down to the smallest currency unit per invoice. This is subscription commission, not a share of recruitment or placement fees. No commission is earned on free profiles, free hiring briefs, trials, jobseeker accounts or credit-only invoices.

3A. Referred customer welcome offer

Eligible new agency and employer owners attributed under this version receive 10% off their first three regular monthly paid-subscription invoices. Any standard free trial remains available and does not count as a discounted paid month. Eligible plans are Agency Network, Agency Growth and Employer Workspace, including monthly seats on the same invoice. The offer is applied automatically to the verified business at checkout and through invoice adjustments; no public coupon code is needed. Normal prices apply after the third monthly invoice. Annual plans, one-off charges, self-referrals, existing subscribers and duplicate accounts are excluded. Separate proration invoices do not consume an extra discounted month; a pro-rata reduction may appear while the initial coupon is active. This offer cannot be combined with another discount or customer credit promotion. An existing account offer takes precedence. Cancellation, refunds, changing plan or restarting do not create a fresh three-month entitlement. Activate the first subscription within 365 days of signup. Partner commission is calculated on eligible revenue actually collected after this discount. Partners may describe this published offer but cannot create their own rates, extend it or promise other reductions. If checkout does not show the offer, the customer should contact team@taprecruiter.com before paying. Corrections to a completed invoice require review and will not be charged or refunded without the appropriate authority.

4. Monthly periods and start deadline

The first actual qualifying payment must be within 365 days of the new account’s signup. Up to 12 distinct paid monthly service periods qualify; a proration ending in the same service period does not use another month. A period with no cash payment does not use a paid month. Refunding a previously paid period reverses its commission but does not restart the 12-period allowance. Annual or mixed-period invoices and payment types the ledger cannot verify are held for review; they do not automatically qualify. Any different treatment must be agreed in writing before the referral. No earnings or customer retention are guaranteed.

5. Eligible introductions

The owner must be new to TAP, follow a valid active partner link or enter its code before signup, register and verify within 90 days of the first valid recorded link visit or code application, and create their own real agency or employer workspace. One partner attribution is allowed per workspace, owner account and email. Existing TAP accounts, invited team members, test or duplicate accounts, and self-referrals are excluded. Self-referrals include your own account, business or a business you control; using a different email does not make one eligible. Matching non-public business email domains and normalised email aliases are screened, and mistaken matches can be reviewed. The same referral cannot earn both this cash commission and TAP’s separate agency referral credit.

6. Attribution and tracking limitations

The first valid recorded partner link visit or manually applied code takes priority; later links or codes do not replace it during its valid window. A code cannot be added retrospectively to an existing account. Agency and employer links belong to the same partner, and the verified workspace type determines the referral category. An optional first-party referral cookie lasts up to 90 days. A successful email signup can also bind a hashed email reference for later verification. Privacy preferences, blocked or deleted cookies, shared devices and changing devices can prevent tracking. No retroactive attribution is promised. Tell TAP promptly about an apparent error; TAP will review available records and correct proven errors fairly. Neither dashboard figures nor TAP’s records override evidence of an error or rights under law.

7. Payments and tax

Commission becomes payable only after a 30-day hold from the underlying invoice payment and reasonable verification. TAP reviews balances monthly and will arrange payment of an undisputed eligible balance within 30 days after the end of the month in which it becomes eligible, provided verified payment details and any reasonably required tax information or invoice have been supplied. There is no minimum payout threshold. Payment is by manually arranged bank transfer, not an automatic transfer from the portal. Currencies remain separate; no conversion or fee deduction may be imposed without agreement, except withholding required by law. You are responsible for your own taxes. Commission excludes GST payable on your referral service; valid GST is added where legally required against a valid tax invoice and recorded separately from commission. TAP will provide details of any legally required withholding. Add and maintain your authorised payout bank details in your private partner dashboard. Account numbers are encrypted and masked after saving; authorised TAP payout administrators can reveal them for payment, and changes and views are audited. Saving details does not verify the bank account or initiate payment. TAP may verify first-time or changed instructions with you before paying. Do not put bank details in your public profile.

8. Refunds, holds and corrections

Refunds and chargebacks can reduce commission, including after payout. An overpayment is first offset against future commission in the same currency; if the relationship ends with a balance, the parties will reconcile the evidenced overpayment and agree repayment arrangements. TAP may hold affected earnings where there is a genuine attribution, billing, fraud or legal concern, and may delay a transfer where unresolved records prevent reliable verification of the total payable. TAP will explain the issue and information needed unless prohibited by law or reasonably necessary to protect an investigation, and review continuing holds at least monthly. Unrelated undisputed earnings are not forfeited. Corrections, paid amounts and payment history stay on the ledger.

9. Honest promotion and consent

Identify yourself and clearly disclose your financial relationship close to every recommendation and referral link, for example: “I’m a TAP referral partner and may earn commission if you choose a paid plan.” Do not hide this in a profile or behind a more button. Use accurate current claims. Do not invent testimonials, vacancies, customers, results, endorsements or guaranteed leads, jobs, placements or earnings. Do not imply that free features require a paid plan. Obtain any consent required for email, messaging or telephone marketing, identify the sender, provide a working opt-out and honour opt-outs within the legally required time. Keep evidence of consent. Do not use purchased or harvested lists, unsolicited bulk messages, deceptive redirects, cookie stuffing, fake signups, impersonation or prohibited platform automation. Follow the rules of each community and advertising channel and the laws applying to you and your recipients.

10. Brand and marketing materials

While participating, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use TAP’s supplied current logos, graphics and copy solely for lawful promotion of TAP through your own links. Keep branding and material disclosures intact; you may personalise the supplied text without changing its meaning. Do not register TAP-related domains or handles, bid on TAP or TalentChoice brand terms, claim to be an official TAP office, or offer unauthorised discounts. Ask for written approval for other brand uses or paid campaigns. TAP owns its materials; you retain your own content. Withdraw obsolete or misleading materials promptly when notified. The marketing kit is guidance and does not replace these terms.

11. Privacy and security

Only use referral information to administer this programme. The dashboard shows your own referred business names, signup dates and commission/payment amounts; it does not provide account emails, candidate details or workspace contents. Do not publish another business’s referral or payment information or upload member lists, CVs or sensitive data. Explain the tracking and the referral relationship to people you invite, and direct them to TAP’s privacy information. Keep sign-in emails and links secure and report suspected unauthorised access promptly. TAP uses verified account details, referral records and payment information to operate and audit the programme as described in its privacy notice. Contact team@taprecruiter.com to request access or correction. Records needed for legal, tax or financial audit obligations may be retained after closure.

12. Suspension and ending participation

Either party may end participation on 30 days’ written notice. You may ask TAP to pause new referrals immediately. TAP may promptly pause a link where reasonably necessary to address security, unlawful promotion, fraud or a material breach; ordinarily TAP will explain the reason and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy it. A paused or closed link stops new referrals. Legitimate referrals attributed before closure continue to earn under their agreed terms for the remaining eligible periods; ending participation does not erase earned commission or payment obligations. Fraudulent or otherwise ineligible referrals do not qualify. Stop representing yourself as an active partner and using the materials when participation ends.

13. Changes and independence

TAP may update materials, product features and subscription prices prospectively. Substantive programme changes require a new version and explicit agreement for new referrals; silence or continued access to old reports is not acceptance. An existing referral’s agreed rate and eligibility periods are not reduced retrospectively. Either party can decline a new arrangement and end participation under clause 12. You are independent, pay your own promotional costs and cannot bind TAP. This is not employment, a franchise, an agency relationship, an exclusive territory or a legal partnership.

14. Responsibility and non-excludable rights

Each party is responsible for its own acts and failures and must take reasonable steps to minimise loss. Neither guarantees uninterrupted service, successful referrals or income. Subject to rights that cannot legally be limited, neither is liable to the other for indirect loss or loss of anticipated profits; each party’s total liability arising from this programme is limited to the greater of A$1,000 and commission paid or payable under it in the preceding 12 months. This limit does not apply to commission or agreed repayment obligations, fraud, deliberate misconduct, misuse of the other party’s intellectual property, or breaches of privacy or confidentiality. Nothing excludes consumer guarantees, small-business protections or other rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. No blanket indemnity or forfeiture applies.

15. Questions, disputes and notices

Email team@taprecruiter.com with account, attribution or payment questions and supporting records. TAP will acknowledge a dispute within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days, explaining any further investigation needed. The parties will try good-faith discussions and may agree mediation; neither is prevented from seeking urgent relief or using a regulator, tribunal or court. Australian law and the law of the Australian state or territory where TAP has its registered office apply, with non-exclusive jurisdiction there, without displacing mandatory protections available elsewhere. Notices go to the verified account email or the contact address above. These terms govern referral commissions; separate TAP customer terms govern use of a recruitment workspace. If a provision is invalid, the remaining provisions continue so far as lawful.
